Program Details
The Unnata Aerial Yoga Teachers Training program is comprised of three areas:
- Fundamentals of Unnata Aerial Yoga
- Intermediate/Advanced Aerial Yoga
- Sequencing an Unnata Aerial Yoga Class
In order to teach Unnata Aerial Yoga, you must take 100% of the training (no partial days allowed). You also must pass the final exam. The pace of this program is very fast, and it may be intense for your body, but it will also be quite fun. I do not expect anyone to have difficulty passing the final exam with the knowledge gained from the program. But, if you do not pass the exam the first time, we will review it together, and you will be allowed to take the test again.
Upon successful completion of the Unnata Aerial Yoga Teachers Training program and successfully passing the examination, trained teachers will now be granted a limited license to use the Unnata Aerial Yoga trademark for teaching their classes. This is a significant change from the original Teacher Training Program. The ability to use the Unnata name will allow new teachers of Unnata Aerial Yoga to take advantage of the good publicity and good reputation that I have cultivated over several years, in addition to the innovative Yoga class that I have and continue to develop.
Once you become an Unnata Aerial Yoga instructor, your name will be included on the Teacher’s page of the Unnata website, along with your location and contact information. We now have several Unnata Aerial Yoga teachers who are teaching around the world. I will also add a website link for you, if you have one. Potential students and press from anywhere who look for an Aerial Yoga class in their area will be able to easily find you right from the Unnata website, in addition to whatever you set up for yourself. This will be a significant advantage for you, as anytime I get press about my classes here in New York City; your classes will also receive the benefit of that promotion.
Because the use of a limited license will draw a close association between my business and Yoga classes and your business and Yoga classes, after the initial 2 years licenses will expire every every year with the option to renew. The renewal process will be for me to ensure safety and quality control standards. At this time, the fee for renewal will be $100. Along with maintaining your contact information on the Unnata website, the renewal fee allows for continued participation in the Unnata Aerial Yoga teachers community, where all Unnata teachers (including myself) share information regarding the aspects of teaching this unique class – developments in instruction, new Aerial Asanas, as well as business matters unique to teaching Unnata Aerial Yoga.
